I am an optimistic lady who is happy and content with her 'lot' in life. Recently retired from full time work yet still a lady who remains ambitious in good measure of course, and know how to relax but above all, I still looks at life with humour and joire de vivre.
Family and friends are important to me; my friends would say I am a wonderful friend with a sense of humour, a friend who listens and who is always willing to help where she can.
Fun & relaxation - I enjoy board games, walking in nature / by the sea /river or better still in the Alps with those magnificent views that take one's breath away!
I used to play cards when at school but I seem to have forgotten how these days. Cooking and baking are up there in my list of enjoyment as is gardening, different genres of music including Buena Vista music and 60s...really, any music that catches my attention with its' beat & rhythm and something I can dance to whether in the kitchen or on the dance floor:)
I am comfortable in my own imperfect skin and strong enough in myself to deeply love and support another and to know what makes a relationship withstand the test of time.
