Life is far to short to be angry, miserable, argumentative, bossy or selfish. I have and I will walk away from an argumentative partner.
If you have a nice partner, cherish them, tell them just how much they mean to you.
I believe that a good warm cuddle, is worth a hundred spoken words of endearment, neither of us should need a reason to show each other just how much we love them.
Happiness is my default setting, one cannot agree on everything, that's impossible, if we differ, then compromise is the answer.
We have to respect each other. I always treat and speak to people as I myself would like to be treated and spoken to. Manners maketh man and they don't cost a penny!
Unlike most men, I am not the slightest bit interested in Cricket, Rugby or Football, but if you like them, I'm cool with that. But I do like Wimbledon, snooker and all forms of motor sports.
I have never, ever gone out on my own drinking, I think it's selfish, I would rather be with the love of my life.
Couples should never coerce their partners into doing something they don't like, that is just wrong, even if it is a TV programme, if you like it great, watch it to your hearts content, whatever makes you happy, makes me happy, I will simply watch another TV, read something or work around the home but on a summers day, I will be found working in the garden, there is always something to do in any garden.
I do not believe in women's work and men's work, that's a load of Victorian piffle, my father, was a terrible male chauvinist, I didn't blame him, it was the era that he grew up in. That's why I am the feminist than I am
I will happily do anything around the house, I love gardening, it's my passion creating beautiful blooms to be admired, not just by humans, but the birds, bees, and insects, our friendly pollinators.
