About him
I am a positive, cheerful, 84 year old and regard myself as a very lucky person. I have three great adult children, all with families and was privileged to experience 51 happy years of marrige, before cancer came along 7 years ago. I have mobility issues but I certainly get around. Intellect is fine. I meditate. A tactile person, I am ready to listen and give support where wanted and welcomed, just as I did as a lawyer (Barrister) and university teacher (Professor). I love travelling, having adventures, some in pursuit of my railway hobby. Maps and cartography is another hobby. Films are a big interest and I love folk music and early rock. Housing issues concern me and I am on the Board of a Housing Assocation. Although hugely interested in politics, I don't like opinionated people: be tolerant is my answer. Smile!!

A loving, warm, lady, who is interested in political and social issues, being a bit left of centre as I am.
