About him
I worked for 35 years in the NHS in the field of learning disabilities, many of which as a senior nurse.
I am not an athlete but at 72 years of age I keep active and look after myself I don't smoke I eat healthily and am a healthy weight . I enjoy swimming, indoor cycling (Not looking necessarily for anyone that does either) and walking but not route marching, as I like to take in the views and have a conversation along the way .
Indoors it’s the usual stuff, TV, internet, reading, and watching too much Utube. I quite like going to the theatre for entertainment. Love watching crime drama on the telly.
I have four daughters, all married, and leading their own lives
Living alone I don't eat out very often. I do enjoy a carvery, fish, and chips out of the paper and a nice country, cafe pub meal.
I enjoy cooking and very rarely have take aways.
Although I am not a drinker I do enjoy the atmosphere of a country pub and I like coffee which I brew myself in my Moka pot.
I like most kinds of holidays.
Being alone I've been on more coach tours than I care to remember. But it's not the same on your own.
My favourite places in this country are the Dales, Lakes, and East coast. Abroad its Italy. There are many more places I would like to visit and explore
